Try disabling "secure boot" in BIOS and set patched windows as "default" in kepatch2.

depending on the motherboard, different one have different Bios setup.... it's easy say than done. ASUS is a pain in the ***... still trying to figure out how to disable Secure Boot. Anyone have any idea on how, that would really help.

HMGK, about the secure boot. When you enter your BIOS, if you go to Security tab, at the end, does it show up for you -> Secure Boot control at the end ? (and then you can choose to enable/disable it??)
If not, try going on BOOT tab, and where there is Launch CSM and Launch PXE OpRom , ENABLE both of them. maybe it shows the option or fix it for you .
I've heard of 2 friends that were having the problem disabling secure boot on an Asus motherboard, and that is what they did. Who knows, might work =]
